You may return most new items (Leica Microscopes excluded) in original packaging within 15 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price of the item(s). We do not refund the cost of shipping unless the return is a result of our error (i.e. - you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). We do not refund shipping charges for international shipments.
All Leica microscopes and accessories have a minimum 15% restocking fee for all returns. This fee is in addition to any deductions for improper packaging, wear, damage, missing components or documentation. Customers who would like to try the microscope before purchase are encouraged to contact us to try them in our studio, at a scheduled event, or to request a live on-line demonstration.
For engraving systems or other machines, you may return an item within 15 days of delivery and will be issued a full refund of the purchase price of the item(s) if the machine is returned in original packaging and in new condition. If the machine has been scratched or damaged, or if any of the original parts shipped with the machine are not returned, we will deduct a 15% restocking fee or the value of the missing part/parts, whichever is greater. You will be notified if we will not issue a full refund and have an opportunity to send any missing parts that were not returned to us before a refund is processed.
OBJECTIVE LENSES FOR MICROSCOPES: Within 15 days of purchase of a lens, we will exchange objective lenses for customers who purchase a microscope from us as a courtesy so customers can make sure the lens is appropriate in their work environment. Customers who buy microscopes from another party and only purchase objective lenses through us are subject to a 15% restocking fee for an exchange. In both cases, customers are responsible for shipping costs.
All international orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee for all returns, regardless of condition of the item.
Cost of merchandise will be refunded less a 15% restocking fee if returned within 15 days of delivery. Shipping charges, customs charges, taxes, fees and duties are the buyer's responsibility. Conditions: All items must be in new condition (no scratches or damage) and returned in original packaging. Customers must first obtain a return merchandise authorization (RMA) from Precision Artistry LLC before sending items back. Cost of shipping to the customer is not refundable, and the customer bears the cost of return shipping to Precision Artistry LLC. Refunds will be made in accordance with payments (credit card refunds, PayPal refunds, etc.) ONLY AFTER Precision Artistry LLC receives returned merchandise and determines merchandise is suitable for resale. Customers are subject to a minimum 30% restocking fee for substantially damaged or missing packaging or the cost of replacement for lost or damaged goods. Customers are responsible for all customs, duties or taxes associated with international orders and returns.
We will process your refund in the same manner in which you originally payed for your items. For example, if you pay by credit card, we will process a refund to that credit card. You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
For microscopes and engraving systems, we strongly recommend customers to contact us for custom shipping quotes. We can frequently find less expensive ways to ship items. We also reserve the option to refuse to use certain carriers in specific countries based on our experience with shipments to different regions of the world.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
